Australia’s leading authority on decorative paint finishes, Jennifer Bennell lived and studied in the USA for many years learning age old traditions such as gold leaf and guilding, before returning to Sydney in 1984 to open her own studio and workshop. Jennifer’s books, Painted Finishes (Lothian 1998) Master Works (Random House 1994) Master Strokes (Random House 1988) are sold worldwide.
She is also well known for her work with a number of lifestyle TV shows and interior design magazines. Her instructional DVD ‘Magic and special effects made easy with Jennifer Bennell’ is a simple step by step guide to creating interesting painted finishes.
Jennifer was born and raised in the Yass Valley and has returned to live in the beautiful village of Binalong.
