Penny Holder: Penny writes a lot of the lyrics for the songs and she also sings and plays woodwind. Penny is also trying to fast-track her guitar skills. This free’s her up to fill in with other instruments when required.

Andy Holder: Andy is not allowed to write lyrics as he has a shocking tendency to get a bit off the track. Perhaps its his wicked sense of humour or just the crazy way he sees the world. So Andy comes up with the music for Penny’s lyrics and also plays fill in for Tom’s material.

Tom Phillips: Tom is also a singer/songwriter and Tom plays bass to the tracks that Penny and Andy have written with Andy sometimes playing the Bass for his songs. Tom has a wonderful voice and is a very good story teller. This is reflected through the content of his songs.

Influences

‘Rustic Journey’s‘ sound is the result of each the individual’s experiences in life when it comes to song-writing. By observing the way people interact with each other be it good or bad and also from the journey they have all taken to arrive were they are at this moment. Every one has a tale to tell about their lives, and ‘Rustic Journey’ take on that and set it to music – each song takes on a life of its own as it tells of the ups and downs that we have all faced on our own Rustic Journey
