BINALONG TO HOST POETRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Award winning poet Robyn Sykes is very excited to announce that the Binalong Banjo Paterson Bush Poetry Prize has been awarded the NSW Championships for 2014. That means a wonderful weekend of poetry in Binalong on September 12-14. Planning is well under way, and details will be announced soon. In the meantime, please mark the date in your calendar!

YASS SCULPTURE: NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL

Sculpture_comp2_thumbYass Valley sculpture is featuring both nationally and internationally this month! The latest edition of the National Trust magazine carries a story about the highly successful ‘Sculpture in the Paddock’ expo mounted by YASSarts in 2013 and is featured on their cover. On top of this, sculptor Al Phemister (one of the primary organisers of Sculpture in the Paddock) has had his work and home featured in the current issue of ‘Australian Country’ magazine and an international client install his work in a public space in Kuala Lumpa. Well done one & all!
