2015 Aboriginal Regional Arts Fund

Aboriginal Arts FundingRegional Aboriginal artists are being encouraged to apply for funds from the Arts NSW 2015 Aboriginal Regional Arts Fund (ARAF).  For the purpose of the fund, regional NSW includes the Central Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong and is defined as the areas or regions outside of Greater Sydney.

Eligible projects include but are not limited to:
Workshops | arts activities as part of festivals or events | artist-in-residence programs | public art and design projects | performances | exhibitions | other local arts initiatives | professional development

Past recipients include Outback Arts for small arts business coaching sessions to build the capacity of Outback Arts Aboriginal cultural staff and practising Aboriginal artists in the region, and South East Arts for the Grow the Music – Wallaga Lake music and performance training program for the Aboriginal community at Wallaga Lake.

Applications opened on 27 January and will close at midnight, 9 March 2015.
