POETRY BY LIZZ
Local writer and poet Lizz Murphy has read her poetry in cafes and courthouses, fetes and festivals, libraries and lounges, schools and sculleries. She writes from a regional base, a Belfast background, a community conviction, a left slant, a visual arts perspective, a skewed eye… Her poetry is about ordinary people, rural living, world conflict, displacement.
You can catch Lizz reading her poetry on Tuesday March 20th, 7.30 – 9.30pm @ Manning Clark House, Forrest, ‘Canberra Wine and Nibbles Talk’.
or at the National Library Bookshop on Saturday 17th March as part of the St Patrick’s Day Irish – Australian writers readings
