Jenny is a member of the Wiradjuri Tribe and she has a strong cultural link to the Wiradjuri lands through her mother. She went to school in Queanbeyan and subsequently worked in Canberra for many years. In 2012 Jenny and her husband moved to live in the Yass Valley Shire.

Jenny began painting in 2008 and is self-taught. She is part of a range of new up and coming aboriginal artists in the region and has adopted a contemporary and very unique style of aboriginal dot painting. As an emerging artist she has successfully sold work both locally and internationally.

Jenny paints primarily for her own enjoyment and is extremely happy when others also appreciate her art work. The inspirations for Jenny’s artwork come from the landscapes, flora and fauna of the local areas around NSW and the ACT.

She is also an accomplished photographer who enjoys photographing landscapes and translating these images into aboriginal dot art.

Jenny’s art is represented by the Burrunju Aboriginal Corporation at Yarramuni Reach in the ACT.
