Bruce Smeaton needs no introduction. He is a composer extraordinaire with a list of film and television scores in both Australia and the U.S. to his credit Roxanne, Picnic at Hanging Rock, Plenty, Seven Little Australians, Wendy Cracked a Walnut, Patrol Boat, Evil Angels, The Chant of Jimmy Blacksmith – to name some of over 60 scores he has composed and arranged.
Bruce Smeaton’s knowledge of music technology and styles is without par and he is as comfortable with the latest computer programs and ‘midi’ systems, as he would be with Medieval instruments or Japanese music notation. A word of advice – don’t get him started on Mozart!
