Therese was born in Victoria, Australia and moved to the nation’s capital of Canberra when she was eleven. Hence she attended various ‘Seats of Learning’ from Ballarat and Melbourne through to Canberra.
When she left these hallowed halls, Therese sold her soul to the Public Service for a year and a half. This enabled her to fulfil a yearning to visit the green and pleasant lands of Britain and Ireland where she very foolishly fell in love and stayed for four years . . . but that’s another story!
Therese now resides in Yass with her dream man, her daughter and some sheep and works in remedial massage.
Literature has been a love since childhood so writing has always come naturally to her. Some of her short stories and poems were included in a publication entitled ‘In Black & White and Read‘ (in the collection of the National Library, Canberra) and she has produced draughts for two separate children’s books ‘The Snoozy Moon‘ and ‘Polly the Pearl Farmer‘.
She lists Mervyn Peake, Tom Robbins, Wilfred Owen, Brian Patten and Kate Llewellyn among her favourite writers.
