East Moon are a fresh and exciting vocal and acoustic guitar duo who hail from the Southern Tablelands region of New South Wales. They have been together for 12 months during which time they have assembled a song list derived from many great modern, jazz, blues and folk artists, in addition to developing their own eclectic mix of original material.

East Moon play music based on their ability, careful song selection and their aim is to deliver quality entertainment. Their set list includes a selection of songs written and sung by such great artists as Norah Jones, Sade, Renee Geyer, James Brown, Leonard Cohan, Robert Johnson, John Mayall, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash and Eva Cassidy.

The music that Bruce and Cecilia’s write together is inspired by the above mentioned artists however their music comes from the heart and the journey they have individually travelled through life.

East Moon are:

Cecilia Pavlovic – Cecilia is a local singing teacher and vocalist for hire. Cecilia has completed 7 years of classical vocal training. She is adept at a variety of styles including modern, classical and standards. Cecilia has been in a number of bands and stage shows and has built a reputation as a sought after vocalist. Cecilia has already established her own musical identify however continues to develop her ability every time she sings.

Bruce Callaway – Bruce is a guitarist, writer and producer who has worked many of Australia’s music icons such as The Saints, The Triffids and Ed Keupper. He has produced a number of internationally acclaimed albums and has even shared the stage with the great Bo Diddley. Bruce is an highly developed musician who is adept at many genres and brings a wealth of experience to East Moon.
