Artist/illustrator Anneke Nes, known to most in the Yass Valley Shire as Anneke Saunders, will launch a new book at the National Library, Canberra, this November.
Unfortunately, this launch is limited in numbers, but despair not!
There will be a general launch on Sunday the 13th December at 3pm at the Cork Street Cafe in Gundaroo, which will feature food & wine, book signings and art for sale.

Sadly we are loosing one of our great artists to the Blue Mountains. Lucy will be staging a farewell exhibition at her siblings’ gallery ‘The Art of Living’ in Binalong. DON”T MISS IT!

Though not definitively in the Yass Valley Shire, the annual Jugiong Art Show features many of the regions artists. The show will open with a Cocktail Party, Friday 27 November from 7.00 – 9.30pm
$25.00 a head supper and drinks provided at the Jugiong Memorial Hall.
The exhibition is staged in aid of the local historic St John the Evangelist Catholic Church

This year, Jan moved to the Old Stationmaster’s House in tranquil Yass and has painted a series of Australian country scenes – gorgeous landscapes and quaint, peaceful cottages. A Country Life celebrates Jan’s passion to live in a small country town.
A Country Life exhibition can be viewed at the Old Stationmaster’s House, 30 Dutton Street, Yass.
The exhibition runs from Sunday 22nd November to Sunday 6th December. Opening times are 9.00am to 5.00pm daily.

The members of the Yass ‘University of the Third Age’ Art Group invite you to attend an art show to be held at the Yass Valley Regional Library. THe exhibition runs from the 16th to 28th November (open during Library hours)
Proceeds of commission from sales will be donated to Can Assist.
The official opening will be on Monday 16th November at 5.30pm.
